Kaylene is an American who recently moved to the United Kingdom. Her blog, Cheers to traveling, was started in October 2015. She shares the highs of exploring cities and the great outdoors in the USA, UK, and everywhere in between. She is most interested in covering outdoor adventures, walkable destinations, and the food and drinks that keep her going throughout her travels. And since traveling doesn’t always go to plan, Kaylene also discusses experiences where she searches for a smile in the midst of globetrotting frustration and stress.

Born and raised just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, she grew up traveling around the United States and has now traveled to 18 countries across North America, South America, and Europe in the past three and a half years. Kaylene has a degree in Communication with a minor in English: Writing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She’s written and completed research for TripScout, a travel app with local and authentic self-guided tours, in addition to helping them write a chapter in How to Become a Digital Nomad and helping curate the Nashville guide alongside the TripScout team and local food and travel experts.

If you want to collaborate or partner with Kaylene and Cheers to traveling, please email cheerstotraveling@gmail.com or fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Kaylene has also realized writing and editing is one of her top passions alongside traveling, so she has started work as a freelance writer and editor. Click below if you’d like to learn more about hiring her for your writing, editing, and social media management needs.

Cheers to traveling and new adventures!
