Mount Vestrahorn near Höfn - travel photos of Iceland
Black sand beach meets Mount Vestrahorn.

At this time a year ago, I was traveling around Iceland, one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever visited. When road tripping the Ring Road, I swear there are stunning views around every bend. And no, it never gets old. Another thing that adds to Iceland’s intrigue is the stark differences all found in one place. After all, it’s not called the Land of Fire and Ice for nothing with volcanoes and glaciers, geysers and waterfalls, black sand beaches and majestic mountains. And as you can probably guess, it’s an incredible destination to photograph. I had a blast capturing travel photos of Iceland with my point-and-shoot camera, and here are a few of my favorites.
