Greenland's Arctic Circle Trail

The Arctic Circle Trail, a stunning 100-mile hike in Greenland, features crystal clear lakes you can safely drink from, curious reindeer, tundra vegetation, and captivating hills and mountains. On the trail from Kangerlussuaq to Sisimiut, there are no towns but just Greenlandic wilderness.

When you’re surrounded by such incredible landscapes and utter peacefulness without a phone or Internet connection, it’s easy to embrace being off the grid. The only electronic I had with me was my camera, so here’s 11 photographs that will make you want to visit Greenland and hike the Arctic Circle Trail.
